Please read these terms with the conditions shown beside the promotion. By entering, claiming or using a promotion, you agree to the terms that apply to it.
Nothing here removes a consumer right or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. We will run promotions fairly and honour benefits validly earned under the published conditions.
01Terms that apply
These Promotion Terms apply to promotions run by onlinelad, including discount codes, money-off offers, bundles, member savings, annual-plan offers, rewards bonuses, referrals, gifts, giveaways, prize draws and competitions.
A promotion page, product page, checkout notice, release notice, email or official social post may state additional conditions. For that promotion, the specific conditions take priority over these general Promotion Terms, followed by the applicable Rewards or Membership Terms and then the main Terms of Use. Mandatory legal rights always take priority.
02Scope and definitions
Routine pricing, ordinary membership benefits and the standard operation of onlinelad Rewards may be explained on the Promotions page for convenience. They remain governed by their normal product, Membership or Rewards Terms even when presented beside a temporary offer.
03Eligibility and participation
Unless specific conditions state otherwise, you must be at least 18 years old, legally able to participate and permitted to do so where you live. A promotion may be limited by country, account status, membership plan, payment method, product, channel, date, device or another clearly stated condition.
- You must provide accurate, complete information and keep any required account details current.
- An account, active membership, internet access, qualifying purchase or proof of purchase is required only where the specific conditions say so.
- People materially involved in planning, administering or judging a prize promotion, and members of their household, may be excluded where stated.
- Unless the specific conditions allow it, benefits are personal, non-transferable and limited to one eligible account or participant.
We may carry out proportionate checks before applying a benefit or awarding a prize. Failure to meet an eligibility condition means the entry or claim is not valid.
04Promotion-specific conditions
Each promotion will state the significant information needed to make an informed decision. Depending on the promotion, this may include:
- how to participate and whether a purchase, code, account or membership is required;
- the start and closing date, relevant time zone and any claim deadline;
- who may participate and any geographical, personal, product or technical restriction;
- the number and nature of benefits, gifts or prizes and any limit on availability;
- entry or redemption limits, proof-of-purchase requirements and excluded items;
- how winners are selected, notified and verified, and when a prize will be supplied; and
- any rule about combining the promotion with another offer.
Conditions may appear on the Promotions page, a dedicated entry page or the material that announces the promotion. They should be retained or remain easily accessible throughout the promotion. Contact us through the contact form before participating if a material condition is unclear.
05Dates, completion and availability
An entry, order or claim must be completed by the stated deadline. Starting checkout, putting an item in a basket, beginning a form or sending a payment that has not cleared does not reserve a promotion or extend its closing time.
The time recorded by the relevant onlinelad system is normally used to decide whether an action was completed on time. If a third-party payment or social platform is required, its service may affect when the action is recorded.
Where availability is limited, the promotion will say so clearly enough for participants to assess whether taking part is worthwhile. We will make a reasonable estimate of likely demand and take reasonable steps to meet it. If an unexpected event outside our control prevents supply, we will communicate promptly and, where appropriate, offer a refund, replacement benefit or reasonable substitute.
06Discount codes, prices and bundles
- A code must be entered and successfully accepted before payment. It cannot normally be added retrospectively to a completed order.
- Only one discount code may be used on an order unless the specific conditions expressly allow more.
- Member pricing is not a discount code. A rewards-card redemption is also not a discount code, so both may apply beside one eligible code where the specific conditions allow.
- A percentage or fixed discount applies only to eligible items and to the price shown at checkout. Taxes, currency conversion and third-party charges are treated as shown before payment.
- In a buy-three-pay-for-two or similar bundle, the lowest-priced eligible item is discounted unless the specific conditions say otherwise.
Codes and benefits have no cash value, cannot be sold or exchanged and cannot be applied to excluded products. We may refuse an obvious pricing or calculation error before accepting an order, but we will not remove a benefit that already formed part of a valid accepted contract merely because an offer later changed.
07Rewards points and promotional bonuses
Standard eligible activity normally earns one onlinelad Rewards point for each whole US dollar actually paid, and each point currently has a redemption value of $0.05. The Rewards Terms control qualifying activity, balances, value, redemptions, exclusions, expiry or holding rules and account adjustments.
- Discounts and rewards-card redemptions are applied before purchase points are calculated.
- Purchase points are based on the eligible amount actually paid and are rounded down as the Rewards system specifies.
- Point bonuses add their extra rates rather than multiplying each other. Triple points adds two extra points per dollar; release-day double points adds one extra point. Together they produce four points per dollar, not six.
- Fixed grants, including monthly membership rewards credit, welcome points and referral points, are not multiplied.
- Points normally belong to the signed-in account used for the transaction. A purchase made without the correct account may not be capable of being reassigned.
Points have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn and may not be used for a subscription or Persona Pack extension. Where the Rewards Terms and a specific promotion state a different treatment for an eligible benefit, the more specific rule applies.
08Offers shown as current on 10 September 2026
The following summary reflects the Promotions page on the effective date. The live Promotions page and the specific conditions displayed with an offer confirm whether it is still running when you participate.
Triple points with PayPal
Until 11.59 pm on 30 September 2026, an eligible shop order paid through PayPal earns three points for each whole US dollar actually paid. It applies to eligible Persona Packs, single images, guides and ebooks after member pricing and other permitted discounts. Subscription payments are not included in this PayPal multiplier. Sign in before buying if the points are to be connected to an account.
Membership and annual pricing
Active Supporter, Collector and Studio members receive 20%, 30% and 40% off eligible shop items respectively. Annual billing costs ten times the monthly price, currently $150, $350 and $950, in return for twelve months of the selected plan. These benefits are subject to the Membership Terms and any checkout information accepted when the plan starts or changes.
Welcome, release and anniversary points
A customer's first qualifying onlinelad order receives a fixed 200-point welcome grant. A newly released Digital Persona Pack earns double purchase points during the first 48 hours stated for that release. An active subscription receives a fixed 500-point anniversary grant each time it completes a full year. Fixed grants are not multiplied.
Three guides, pay for two
Using code GUIDES3 with three eligible guides discounts the lowest-priced guide. Member pricing may apply to the two paid guides. The code counts as the one discount code permitted on that order.
The Promotions page contains worked examples, not quotations. The final price, benefit and points shown by the checkout and Rewards account are authoritative, subject to correction of an obvious error and to your legal rights.
09The Introduction referral offer
An active member may share their personal introduction link with a genuinely new onlinelad customer. Once the referred person's first subscription payment clears:
- one free month is applied to the referring member's next eligible renewal; and
- 500 onlinelad Rewards points, currently worth $25 in redemption value, are credited to the referred person's rewards account.
The free month is a skipped or credited renewal, not a cash payment or refund. Valid free months may queue if more than one introduction qualifies. There is currently no stated cap on genuine introductions, but each referred person must be new, use the valid link and complete a first subscription payment.
Self-referrals, circular referrals, duplicate or false accounts, misleading promotion of a referral link and attempts to manufacture qualifying payments are prohibited. If the qualifying payment is refunded, reversed, charged back or found to be ineligible, the related free month and points may be removed or reversed.
10Refunds, cancellations and reversals
The Refunds Policy, Membership Terms and your statutory rights decide whether a purchase or subscription may be cancelled or refunded. A promotion does not remove those rights.
If a qualifying transaction is fully refunded, purchase points and promotional points earned from it may be deducted, and points redeemed on that transaction may be returned to the relevant account. A partial refund may lead to a proportionate adjustment. A referral, welcome or anniversary benefit may be reversed where the underlying eligibility no longer exists.
If a returned, reversed or fraudulent transaction leaves a negative rewards balance or causes a benefit to have been used without entitlement, we may correct the balance or withhold an equivalent future benefit, acting reasonably and in accordance with the Rewards Terms.
11Giveaways, prize draws and competitions
Where a promotion awards prizes, its specific conditions will state the number and nature of prizes, how to enter, any free-entry route, restrictions, closing date, entry limit, selection method, notification process, claim period and intended delivery date.
- A prize draw will use a verifiably random process or be conducted by or under the supervision of an independent person.
- A competition involving subjective judging will use an independent judge or a panel containing an independent member, with judging criteria stated before entry.
- A prize will be supplied as described or, only where necessary, as a reasonable equivalent. A cash alternative is available only where the specific conditions say so.
- Prizes are personal and non-transferable unless the specific conditions expressly permit transfer.
- A winner may be required to respond and provide reasonable eligibility or delivery information within the stated claim period.
We will normally award and supply prizes within 30 days unless a later date is stated. A prize may be withheld only where the participant has not met a clearly stated qualifying condition.
12Entries, intellectual property and winner publicity
You must own or have permission to submit every part of an entry. It must not be unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, obscene, deceptive, infringing, unsafe or in breach of a platform rule. Do not include another person's personal information or image without a lawful basis and any permission required.
You keep ownership of your original entry. If display, judging or promotion of the competition requires us to use it, the specific conditions will explain the limited licence needed. We will not take ownership of an entry merely because it was submitted.
For a major prize, we may make available information showing that a valid award took place, ordinarily the winner's surname and county and, where relevant, the winning entry. The specific conditions will explain this before entry. A winner may object to publication or ask for the amount of information to be reduced. We may still provide required information privately to a regulator.
Any optional interview, photograph, testimonial or broader publicity requires separate agreement. Winning does not by itself amount to consent for unrelated marketing.
13Privacy, marketing and cookies
We use personal information to administer promotions, verify eligibility, attribute referrals, apply discounts and points, prevent misuse, contact winners, supply prizes, handle queries and keep appropriate records. Depending on the promotion, this may include account and contact details, date of birth or age result, order and payment status, membership and rewards records, referral information, submitted content, winner preferences, communications, device information and technical logs.
The Privacy Policy explains the applicable purposes, legal bases, service providers, international transfers, retention periods, security measures and privacy rights. We share only what is reasonably required with payment providers, hosting and security services, delivery partners, judging or administration providers and official platforms used for a promotion.
Entering a promotion does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Where marketing consent is requested, it is separate and optional unless receiving a strictly operational message is necessary to administer the promotion. You can change marketing choices through the method provided or the contact form.
Cookies, local storage and similar technologies may remember consent, sign-in state, basket contents, language, referral or campaign attribution and fraud-prevention information, and may measure promotion performance. Necessary technologies operate where required for a requested service or security. Optional analytics or advertising technologies follow the choices available through the site's cookie panel. The live panel lists detected cookies, providers, purposes and durations and lets you revisit non-essential choices.
14Payments, social media and third-party platforms
A promotion may be advertised, entered, paid for or fulfilled through a third party such as PayPal, Stripe, a card network, an email provider or a social-media platform. The third party's own terms and privacy notice also apply to your use of its service.
Unless the specific conditions expressly say otherwise, a promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by a social-media or payment platform. Platform usernames, reactions, messages or timestamps may be used only as the specific conditions and Privacy Policy explain.
We are responsible for running our promotions fairly, but we do not control outages, account restrictions, payment decisions or other acts of an independent platform. If a platform failure materially affects participation, we will take reasonable steps to communicate and provide a fair response.
15Misuse, invalid participation and disqualification
You must not use false or duplicate accounts, automated entry methods, bots, scripts, fabricated purchases, manipulated referrals, unauthorised codes, payment abuse or other dishonest means to obtain a benefit or affect a result.
We may reject an entry, withhold or reverse a benefit, disqualify a participant, suspend an account or refuse future participation where there is reasonable evidence of ineligibility, fraud, manipulation, a material breach of these terms or abusive and threatening behaviour. We will act proportionately and, where appropriate, explain the reason and allow relevant evidence to be provided.
Security checks must not be circumvented. Technical or typographical errors do not create an entitlement to a benefit that was obviously not intended, but we will distinguish an obvious error from a published promise on which a consumer reasonably relied.
16Changes, suspension and cancellation
We may update these general Promotion Terms prospectively for legal, security, operational or service reasons. The current version will be published here with its effective date. A later version does not retrospectively remove a benefit already validly earned.
We will not change a promotion's closing date or another material condition unless unavoidable circumstances outside our reasonable control make the change necessary and the change is fair to people who have already participated. Where a material change is necessary, we will communicate it through the promotion's official channel and take reasonable steps to avoid disadvantage.
We may suspend or cancel a promotion if fraud, technical failure, platform action, legal restriction, safety concern or another event outside reasonable control prevents fair administration. Cancellation will not be used simply to avoid awarding a valid benefit or prize. Where participants suffer likely financial detriment, we will consider an appropriate refund, substitute or other fair remedy.
17Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or a statutory consumer right that cannot be excluded.
We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss caused by incorrect information supplied by a participant, a failure to follow clearly stated instructions, or an independent event outside reasonable control where we have taken reasonable steps to respond fairly.
Unless the specific conditions state otherwise, a promotion is intended for personal participation. We are not responsible under consumer provisions for trade or business losses. No term makes a participant responsible for a loss that the law says should be borne by onlinelad.
18General terms, law and contact
If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. No person other than the participant and onlinelad has a right to enforce these terms, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Consumers outside the United Kingdom retain any mandatory protections that apply where they live.
